Doodle of the Day:
I have been driving around taking videos of El Salvador streets
(Go to YouTube and search "roquemocan").
While driving, I see that the traffic signals painted
on the streets are deteriorating.
So: Street Painter (tm), a dot matrix system you put on a pick-up bed,
and cameras with shape recognition (to repaint),
and predefined digital templates to paint new shapes
(stop, direction arrows, etc.)

2009/08/19 Oh look! A scrap of paper! So, doodle of the day:
A sedan car (one of these days I'll start drawing things that are not
cars)... |

2009/08/19 Doodle:
A design for a cinema in Ronchamp, France
(so that I don't draw another car)
|
2009/08/20 Doodle of the Day:
Was reading about the Ford radar system for Blind Spots
(the areas you don't see in rear-view mirrors).
The New York Times says that it isn't necessary
if your mirrors are correctly aligned (if only...).
So, to help align your rear-view mirrors:
BlindSpotBan is a cardboard cut-out that you can put in your garage,
or companies could locate in the parking spot, to foster more secure
driving.

2009/08/25 A Sports Car and a Citroen 2 CV succesor
on a free space in the newspaper.
Good Design Tips (for graphical designers creating ads for printed
media):
White space is your friend.
You'll have more impact without cluttering
all your design elements on the page.
AND most importantly, you leave me white space so I can Doodle every
day!
|

2009/08/26 A mid engined sports 4 door sedan.
Using white spaces in the newspaper to draw my cars...
In these times of need, You have to reach for whatever is available.
|

2009/08/27 European Sedan: A Citroen.
(still using newspapers as a source of designing space)
|

2009/08/27 European Coupe: A Citroen or Renault? |

2009/08/27 Doodle of the day (before leaving the office): an electric
show car
|

2009/08/31 a 12 cylinder exoticar.
In my last car doodle (an electric car), Phil and Herberth began to
suggest:
12 cylinder twin-cam boxer motor, and other exotics things...
the design was not geared for that kind of technology (small tires,
etc),
so here is a draft for a car with a 12 cylinder boxer motor...
