Llegando a Chalchuapa - hay una gasolinera Esso por la entrada del pueble... debe cruzar a la izquerda para entrar al pueblo, pues la carretera lo bordea (Arriving at Chalchuapa - there is an Esso near the entrance of the town. You have to turn left to enter the town, as the freeway bypasses it)	Siga la calle que tiene arriate enmedio, hasta llegar a una Texaco (Follow the main street - the one with a median divider, until you reach a Texaco)	Allí cruza a la izquierda, hasta el final (There you turn left and keep going until you reach the end of the street)	Tiendas de Souvenirs Afuera (Souvenir Shops outside)

A la izquierda del edificio es donde Ud. hace la papelería para dejar El Salvador y entrar Guatemala. A la izquierda del muro está el Río Paz. El bus es de Melva Internacional, un transporte económico de origen Guatemalteco. (To the left of the building is where you do the paperwork to leave El Salvador and enter Guatemala. To the left of the wall is the Paz river. The bus is from Melva International, an economical transportation company of Guatemalan origin)		Adentro de las oficinas de Aduana. Ahuachapán (Ahuachapan)
Después de subir un poco, la carretera hacia Ahuachapán (After climbing a bit, the road to Ahuachapan)	Es bastante recto... (It is fairly straight)	Si está cansado/a o hambriento/a, El Parador es el sitio para hacer una pausa y comer (If you are tired or hungry, El Parador is the place to make a pause and eat something)	Al dejar El Parador, se llega a una bifurcación. Hacia adelante va a la ciudad de Ahuachapán, hacia la izquierda, bordea la ciudad. Ud. debe manejar con extrema precaución, en especial de noche. (After passing El Parador, you arrive at a bifurcation. Straight ahead is the city of Ahuachapan, and to the left you go around the city, avoiding it. You have to drive very cautiously, especially at night)
	Decidí ir hacia adelante, para entrar en Ahuachapán (I decided to go straight ahead into Ahuachapan)	Cruce a la izquierda! (Turn left!)
	Luego cruza a la derecha (en donde se tomó la foto) y al final de esta calle, donde está el mercado, cruza de nuevo a la izquierda. El centro de Ahuachapán está a la derecha. (then you turn right - where we took this photo - and at the end of this road you turn left again. Downtown Ahuachapan is to the right)	Decidí cruzar a la derecha, para adentrarme al centro de  Ahuachapán (I decided to turn right, to enter downtown Ahuachapán)
			Enfrente de la Iglesia, el parque estaba cerrado por remodelación (Across the street from the church, the park was closed for remodelation)
	Iglesia a la Izquierda y parque a la derecha. Church to the left, park to the right		Infocentros Internet Café, creados con los fondos recaudados con la privatización de ANTEL (telecomunicaciones). Antel se convirtió en Telecom, al ser comprada por France Telecom. Hoy Telecom es parte del imperio del mexicano Slim Helú. Infocentros Internet Cafe, created with the funds from the privatization of ANTEL (telecommunications). ANTEL changed its name to Telecom, when it was purchased by France Telecom. Now Telecom is part of the empire of the mexican Slim Helu.

	El volcán adelante (The volcano ahead)	Bifurcación, que viniendo de San Salvador, va a Ahuachapán a la izquierda, y recto rodea la ciudad. La foto es hacia Occidente. (Bifurcation, that, coming from El Salvador, leads to Ahuachapan to the left, and rounds the city straight ahead.  The photo is to the west)	Hay un pequeño puento, por lo que el motel de la derecha se llama El Puente. Este puente estaba muy protegido en la época de la guerra civil. (There is a small bridge, and that is why the motel to the right is called "El Puente" (the bridge). This bridge was heavily guarded in the civil war)
	Foto hacia el otro lado, hacia San Salvador. Hay un cruce a la izquierda y después una larga recta. (Photo to the other side, towards San Salvador. There is a curve to the left, and then a long straight away)		Volcán a la izquierda de la carretera (Volcano to the left of the road)
Pueblo de Turín (Turin town)	Viniendo de Ahuachapán a San Salvador, después de la recta y una curva a la izquierda, verá una torre de celular. Acá maneje con mucho, mucho cuidado. Un poco más adelante, cambia a cuatro carriles, pero hay una división entre los dos carriles de ida, y si no tiene cuidado, puede chocar contra ella. También tenga cuidado en dirección contraria, pues cambia de cuatro a dos carriles, y el carril derecho desaparece. (Coming from Ahuachapán to San Salvador, After the straight away and a curve to the left, you'll see a celular tower. Here drive very, very carefully, as a bit further down, the one lane street widens to two lanes, but there is a divider between the two lanes going to the same direction! You can hit the divider if you aren't careful. Also be very careful when coming from the other way, as the four lanes convert to two lanes, and the right side lane disappears.)	Esto es viniendo de San Salvador a Ahuachapán. Note que hay una división en los dos carriles que vienen, y que los dos carriles que van, el carril derecho desaparece (por donde va el bus) This is coming from San Salvador to Ahuachapan. Note that there is a division between the two lanes coming towards the camera, and on the two lanes going away, the right lane disappears - where the bus is turning to the right)
Ahora son cuatro carriles (now there are four lanes)	Viniendo de Ahuachapán a San Salvador, otra bifurcación. Hacia adelante es para entrar a Chalchuapa (donde quedan las ruinas de Tazumal), y hacia la izquierda es para bordear la ciudad. De noche ¡Maneje con mucha precaución! (Coming from Ahuachapan to San Salvador, another bifurcation, straight ahead is Chalchuapa (where the Tazumal ruins are located) and to the left you round the city. Be careful when driving by night)		Decidí entrar a Chalchuapa, para ir al Tazumal - Ver las fotos arriba (I decided to enter Chalchuapa to go to Tazumal - see the phots above)
A la izquierda, el volcán (to the left, the volcano)			Al final de esta calle está el cementerio y hay que cruzar a la izquierda. Tazumal está atrás. (At the end of this road is the cemetery, so You have to turn left. Tazumal is behind.
